About This Webinar

Your career success depends on having effective communication skills and strategies, the ability to create mutually rewarding relationships with customers, coworkers and colleagues. In fact, former LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner says, "Communication skills are the #1 skills gap."

Employers can find people with tech skills. What they're looking for are people with emotional intelligence skills that can create positive, productive working relationships.

Whether you are proposing an idea to your boss, competing for a promotion, trying to win support from your team for a product launch, or interviewing for a job, your success depends on whether you can WIN THEIR YES. The good news is, there are ethical ways to influence others without resorting to manipulative tactics.

In this webinar, you will discover how to hone your communication skills, interact with integrity, and ethically persuade others.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Participants will be able to explore a few proven communication techniques and strategies to influence people;
  2. Participants will be able to explore a 4-step process for turning a NO into a YES;
  3. Participants will be able to explore the 3 differences between ethical persuasion and manipulation - and how to hold themselves accountable for creating win-win outcomes;
  4. Participants will be able to identify the key to set an example of mutual respect, so people are motivated to follow their lead and respond in kind.

Discover why Richard Branson's New Now Leaders, TED Fellows, Entrepreneurs Organization, and NASA have all hired Sam to teach their team members how to be more persuasive.

Specific Takeaways Include How To:

1 - Craft a 60 second opening that engages distracted people and inspires them to put their devices down and want to listen.

2 - Create a memorable phrase-that-pays that resonates with people and motivates them to take action.

3 - Share a 60 second "Empathy Telescope"  story that provides proof of concept, so people care about what you care about.

4 - Reverse objections and win buy-in so people decide they want to hire you, work with you, or refer you.

5 - Close any communication with crystal-clear next steps to increase the likelihood of follow-up and desired outcomes.

Be prepared to take notes as Sam is renowned for her real-life examples, inspiring quotes, and "I can use this today" insights you can use immediately to get bottom-line results.
